An interesting issue concerning the erection of 5m poles on or near the boundary in a rural (Timaru) location:-

Seems like there was a total lack of consultation by a commercial orchard operator with their neighbours - not that the consultation would have allowed/agreed to the frost post poles. This has resulted in the inevitable - neighbours who are offside with the Orchardist, and a Council now looking at a retrospective non-complying resource consent.
