If you want to include images in your post you cannot use the 'Quick Reply' button. When you start a new post or thread, you will see two tabs at the bottom, one labelled Preview, the other BBCode. Preview allows you to edit your post with it looking more or less how it will when it's done. BBCode allows more subtle editing, but can be a bit daunting at first. There are two way to post images and photos on this board, one of which is easy but a bit limited, the other which is harder but gives a better result. The first way is to upload the images from your PC as an attachment, using the Add Attachment button at the top of the window: Once you have navigated to the image you want, and selected, it will upload. You will then have the option to insert the image, which will insert wherever you cursor was when you clicked Add Attachments. If you are using the BBCode editor you will see the image code eg [attachmentid="1" thumbnail="1"], which you can move around to fit with your text. You can add a maximum of three attachments to any post. As you can see from the example above, only a thumbnail of the image will appear in line with the text - when anyone viewing the thread clicks on the thumbnail it will open out to full screen. You will also find that there is limited space allowed for attachments, and if you are a prolific attacher like me, you will eventually run out of space attaching images this way.

The other, and better way to attach images is to host them on a photo sharing site such as Photobucket (other sites are available e.g. Dropbox flickr, tinypic, smugmug). I will go through the Photobucket process because it is the one I use - if other forum members use other file hosting sites, perhaps they can do the same.
***Edit*** Photobucket no longer supports third party hosting. I will be migrating my photos away from Photobucket. I suggest others do the same***
Once you have uploaded your photo to your chosen hosting site, and have obtained a link to the photo:
4. Go to your forum post and click the 'Insert Image' button. A window will appear into which you should paste the code you copied above:
5. If you are using the BBCode editor a text string that looks something like this will appear in square brackets: img alt=" " src="http://i906.photobucket.com/albums/ac261/wollington/ICS%20Forum%20Uploads/addpics6_zps302f538b.jpg" style="max-width:100%;" Put this string wherever in your post you want the image to appear.
If you are using the preview editor, the image should appear wherever the cursor was.
Make sure you don't change any part including the brackets!
If any of this doesn't make sense, drop me a line and I'll talk you through it.

You will notice that none of my Photobucket pictures now shows up, because Photobucket has changed their TOS. It is a crappy and unreliable service, and they were no doubt recovering plenty from their ads, so I won't be paying to fix this. In the interim I recommend attaching pictures to the board as per the first post in this thread.
Cheers A
