Field Notes has reached a milestone ..... (with ProBoards anyway...)
The milestone is not that salubrious though - you may have noticed the "banner ads" appearing at the top and bottom of the site. These are triggered by the volume traffic on the site - the target is obviously not set very high....
If you are bothered by these (), then provide some feedback and we can move to remove them. This will be at a small cost though, so be wary of spending the ICS meagre funds...

Not at all worried about the ads Brent, preserving the meagre funds for higher priorities is more importport.

Sorry about the typo there folks, found it funny myself after Alex spotted it....if you can make anything out of selling the rights to that or come up with new and innovative ways of funding the ICS it would be great!

If people want to get rid of ads - they can use adblock plus extension. Ads can be dangerous if served by 3rd party (which can also use other 3rd party content, servers, etc.) It is good to use something like malwarebytes or adwcleaner to be safer. Adware is not a virus and is not flagged by your antivirus. Malwarebytes and Adwcleaner designed specifically for adware removal. I use malwarebytes it helped me with sale charger ads
