I came across this sad summary of "five years on" being a publication of a Christchurch Resident's answer to five simple questions by The Press about their lives after the 2010/11 earthquakes. Stuff - 2-Sept-2015
A shining light within the answer to the last question deserves promotion on this Forum, and also circulation amongst his peers in the industry: "5. Can you name a person who has made a real difference over those five years?
There are many people in and out of our city who are fighting the cause for those worst affected. Names that spring to mind include, but aren't limited to, Duncan Webb, Adrian Cowie, Bevan Craig, Dean Lester and so many others."
AJ - a quiet (sometimes not) achiever who is passionate about the issues being faced; and who offers total dedication to his clients; and is willing to face the battles as they currently present. AJ was awarded the Canterbury Peg for 2014 - a recognition by the Canterbury Branch of the NZ Institute of Surveyors as to the excellence of his work and deeds as a Professional Surveyor.
Well done on both counts AJ.
