Is the granting of concessions over these public/private walkways a new issue?

Is this type of action (both by DoC and the landowner) a dangerous precedent?

How reliable are the DoC maps...?

I bet any mapping is drawn on crappy Landonline record boundaries or worse. Crown agencies have quite a lot of 'previous' when it comes to using poor spatial data in important documents. Happy to be proved wrong....
