This report would not be the first such example noting the impact of delays with getting title when Lots are sold "off the plans". Stuff: 2-Feb-2019It may be all very well for those in the chain to blame others; or be vague about the delay reasons; but the new landowner on the end of the chain will always be significantly affected. However, they should also have been fully advised at the start (by the Developer; the Land Agent; their Solicitor) that a promised "title issue" date is a target and not a given... Caveat Emptor. Interesting too to note that there was no mention of the Survey Consultant taking any blame....
