Residents of a sleepy Christchurch neighbourhood fear new connecting roads will make it a busy commuter route.
The small subdivision of Cameo Grove lies in northeast Christchurch, near Burwood Hospital. A street there, also called Cameo Grove, is at present split into east and west.
In consultation with the Christchurch City Council, Prestons Park developer CDL Land plans to connect the two parts of the street and join both to Katrine Dr to the north.
