A planning consultant says the Gore District Council is operating its water treatment plant illegally, but the council disagrees.
In a submission to the council’s Proposed District Plan, Brett Giddons, of Town Planning Group in Queenstown, says he requested information from the council relating to all resource consents and approvals relating to the establishment and operation of the East Gore Water Treatment Plant, under the Local Government Information and Meetings Act.
