Auckland driver claims AT is putting revenue ahead of children’s safety

North Shore resident Paul Sutton is concerned that Auckland Transport (AT) is prioritising income over children’s safety.
“I’ve got a bus stop that’s been built at the top of my driveway that totally obscures my view as I exit the driveway, and it’s so close to the driveway that I can’t see pedestrians, or cyclists, or people on scooters coming until they’re literally almost under my wheels.”
The Lake Rd footpath is a main thoroughfare for local children walking and cycling to nearby Takapuna Grammar School.
