Seaside land for sale, but comes with a catch - and not the fish kind

Twelve sections at a new beachside development in Hawke’s Bay go on the market this week, but they come with a catch (and it’s not of the fish variety).
The sections are among 37 in the Tangoio Beach subdivision, which is about 22km north of Napier.
The area was affected by Cyclone Gabrielle and was subsequently deemed ‘Category 2A’ land, meaning it was considered to have potential to be made safe for residential dwellings, but It was later placed in Category 3, meaning it was considered unsafe for habitation, and there was no way of making it safe in future.
